SPECIALITY COFFEE IN SOUTHSEA

Serious about coffee since 2013.

We’ve worked with independent roasters Campbell & Syme since 2016, making them one of our longest-standing partners.

Together, we created Southsea Blend: our bespoke house espresso, roasted especially for us. It always begins with a Brazilian base, bringing the depth, body and richness we want from an everyday coffee. That is paired with a seasonal washed African coffee to add brightness, fruit and a little lift.

The components may evolve with the seasons, but the aim remains the same: a beautifully balanced espresso that tastes great on its own and holds its character perfectly through milk.

Alongside our Southsea Blend, we serve a regularly changing selection of coffees from some of our favourite independent roasters across the UK and Europe.

Our guest coffees give us the chance to explore different origins, varieties and processing methods, from bright washed African coffees to fruit-led and more experimental lots. Recent roasters have included DAK, Scenery, Workshop, zennor and formative.

You’ll find guest coffees served as espresso and as hand-brewed V60 pour-over, with the origin, process and tasting notes clearly listed. The line-up changes often, so there is nearly always something new to try and our baristas are always happy to help you choose.

ROTATING GUEST COFFEES

After a small hiatus, our coffee cuppings are back AND now taking place every other month.

These relaxed tasting sessions explore different origins, varieties, processing methods and roasting styles, often alongside our team, guest roasters or long-standing coffee partners Campbell & Syme.

They’re open to everyone, whether you already know your washed Ethiopian from your natural Colombian or simply want to understand why one coffee can taste completely different from another. No expertise or coffee jargon required.
